Baume-les-Messieurs
Dominated by vertiginous cliffs, Baume-les-Messieurs (15 km) is nestled in the middle of the typical Jura landscape.
Caves, imperial abbey and waterfalls are among the most beautiful in Europe.

The Hérisson waterfalls
Two rivers emanating from the lakes Bonlieu and Ilay join together to run down the mountain side over a series of ravines and rock faces ; 31 falls in all of which the most famous are the Eventail at 65m, the Grand Saut at 60m, the Gour Bleu, Saut de la Forge and the Saut Girard at 35m.

After patiently waiting for 6 years and 3 months, the Jura Vin Jaune is revealed to tickle our taste buds.
Mise-en-scène by the Vin Jaune ambassadors, it is the ‘not to be missed’ winter rendez-vous. Two days to celebrate this unique wine. Needless to say, the event and the programme will be charged with local tradition…half pagan festival and half Mass, the festival offers a visit to local vineyard towns until the grand moment of piercing the Vin Jaune barrel before massive crowds! The barrel, 228 litres, is pierced with a hammer to reveal the nectar from within, golden colour, spicy aromas, walnut and under-wood flavours emerge from the oak barrel that kept the wine for so long.

On Saturday, 4th and Sunday, February 5th, 2012, to Ruffey on Seille (in 10 km), the '2005' vintage wine has leaved the secret of the Jura cellars to show itself to the public.
